asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will publish the number of housing action areas approved for each housing authority in Scotland and the total number of houses included in such areas in each authority.
There are two distinct stages in the housing action area procedure—first, the submission of a draft resolution to the Secretary of State for his response within a specified period, and then, after an interval for local representations and explanations, the passing of a final resolution. The figures for draft resolutions and final resolutions are given in the following tables:
