Mr. Wigley
asked the Secretary of State for Wales how much financial assistance has been given by his Department towards the printing and publishing of books in the Welsh language in each year since 1971–72.
Mr. John Morris
Assistance is given to publishing books in Welsh under the Welsh Books for Adults scheme which is administered for my Department by the University of Wales Press Board. The amounts involved are:
