asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the total number of different forms which his Department, and its subordinate agencies, currently have available for different purposes requiring completion by members of the general public; and if he has been able to acquire this information without incurring disproportionate cost since the answer given to the hon. Member for Eastleigh on 8th March 1976.

I regret that the number of forms available to the general public from my Department and the organisations for which I am responsible cannot readily be distinguished without disproportionate cost from those appropriate to business and other organisations. This information is not essential for general administration and has not been collected since the answer my right hon. Friend gave the hon. Member on 8th March 1976.—[Vol. 907, c.
