asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many of the 170 visits paid by Her Majesty's Factory Inspectorate to industrial premises on Canvey Island since 1st January 1976 were paid to the Texaco Oil Storage Depot, London and Coastal Oil Wharves Limited, and to the British Gas Corporation's premises, respectively.

I am informed by the Health and Safety Commission that since 1st January 1976 nine visits have been paid by Her Majesty's Factory Inspectorate to the Texaco Oil Storage Depot, 10 to London and Coastal Oil Wharves Ltd., and 14 to the British Gas Corporation's premises.
