Fees
The Solicitor-General
I beg to move Amendment No. 5, in page 72, line 4, leave out from beginning to 'the' in line 5 and insert
I think that we shall now be able to turn to relatively brief debates. Clause 116 (4) simply contains a saving for the existing ways in which fees are taken, applied and accounted for in the various courts in the Province. The amendment makes it clear that fees orders will be able to contain provisions about those matters if it is wished to amend them.'An order under subsection (1) or (2) may provide for the manner in which any fees fixed thereby are to be taken, applied and accounted for but, subject to any provision so made,'.
Amendment agreed to.
