asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer for how long the blacklisting of companies for Pay Code breaches has effect; and whether such blacklisting can carry over from one stage of pay policy to another.

Firms which negotiate excessive settlements so as to comply with the pay guidelines cease to be subject to discretionary action. Otherwise, the position of each firm is reviewed at its annual settlement date.
