asked the Secretary of State for Transport how many speed restriction orders have been requested in the county of Cambridgeshire; how many have been granted; and what is currently the delay between £100 per annum to £312 per mentation.

Speed limit orders are the responsibility of the highway authority, which is required to seek the consent of my right hon. Friend only when the restrictions apply to principal roads.Details of applications in the last three years—apart from one which was withdrawn—are:
