asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received about the future of Chiswick House during recent weeks; and whether he will make a statement.

I have received no major representations since public discussion earlier this year of my Department's proposed works at Chiswick House. Those proposals are now being re-examined in the light of the views then expressed about them.
