asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what has been the total revenue expenditure of the Cheshire county council in each of the years since 1974–75; what proportion of the expenditure has been met from (a) grants, (b) rates, (c) charges and (d) other services; and how each of these figures compares with the national average.
