asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what estimate he has made of the annual savings to the National Health Service of full implementation of his circular issued in August 1977 requiring health authorities to introduce changes for the transport to and from work of non-resident staff; and what were the reosons for ending the free system of travel operated by many hospitals over the years.
