asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list, for each travel-to-work area in Cornwall, the number in employment during May 1968 and May 1978.
The following table gives mid-year estimates of the numbers of employees in employment for local areas the latest of which are for June 1976:completed giving consideration to considering the basis on which consultations should be held with those primarily concerned to see whether improvements in the law can be proposed to redefine the difference between peaceful picketing and intimidation; and whether he will publish a list of those with whom he has been carrying out his consultations.
Following careful consideration by the Government of the basis for consultation on the complex question of picketing I hope shortly to be able to enter into formal consultations with the parties principally concerned.
