Mr. George Gardiner
asked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for each current member state of the EEC for which quarterly data is available in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development publication "Quarterly National Accounts Bulletin" in each quarter since 1970, the proportion of the gross national product devoted to investment in plant and machinery.

Relevant information is published in the OECD bulletin for the United Kingdom only of EEC machinery as a percentage of gross domestic product at current prices, not seasonally adjusted is shown below:
