asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what was the percentage increase in retail prices between July 1945 and October 1951, between November 1951 and September 1964, between October 1964 and May 1970, between June 1970 and February 1974 and between March 1974 and the latest date for which figures are available.
