The Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow Area Health Authority (Teaching) issued a formal consultative document on 23rd May 1978 proposing that Acton Hospital should be developed to provide a service for the elderly in conjunction with Hammersmith Hospital. The authority is to discuss the results of the consultation on 25th October.
