Denbigh Relief Road Scheme

asked the Secretary of State for Wales why no progress has been made with the relief road scheme for the town of Denbigh; and what steps he proposes to take to implement it.

The scheme is primarily a matter for Clwyd County Council as the local highway authority. Expenditure for the scheme has already been accepted as eligible for transport supplementary grant and I understand that tenders are due to be invited shortly.
