asked the Attorney-General what is the current size of the staff of the Law Commission, excluding the Commissioners.

The Solicitor-General

I am advised by my noble Friend the Lord Chancellor that there are 45 staff in the office of the Law Commission, excluding the Law Commissioners, as at 1st October 1978.
