Fluorisis

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many cases of fluorisis are known to have occurred in farm livestock during the last 10 years; and in how many of those cases the source of infection has been located.

Fluorosis is not a notifiable disease and detailed information about its incidence in farm livestock is not available. The relatively limited number of cases which arise are generally associated with industrial plants which emit fluoride.
