asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the likely completion date of each phase of the construction of Preston new hospital; and when it will be fully operational.

- Phase I: August 1979.
- Phase II: August 1980.
- Pathology (Phase I): August 1981.
- Pharmacy: August 1981.
- Main entrance and changing facilities for non-resident staff: December 1981.
