Mr. Churchill
asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give an undertaking that no members of Her Majesty's Forces have been or are to be seconded or released to man or to maintain air defence missiles supplied to Zambia and that the training commitment in respect of these missiles is confined to training within the United Kingdom.
Mr. Mulley
I refer to the statement made by my right hon. Friend the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary on 2nd November. No British personnel are being assigned to Zambia in support of this assistance and any training would be carried out in the United Kingdom.
