asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will initiate discussions with British Railways to agree an extension of the current rail travel concessionary fares system for retirement pensioners to include invalidity pensioners.

My Department and the Department of Health and Social Security are already holding discussions with the Railways board on this, but any decision must be for the board to make.
