asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he is satisfied with the state of the poultry industry in Wales; and if he will make a statement.

Returns to egg producers in Wales, as in the rest of the United Kingdom, are lower than in the corresponding period last year and the poultry industry is considering measures to improve the situation. The returns in the table poultry sector are satisfactory.
