asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how much land acquired under the community land scheme has been disposed of; and how much profit has arisen from such disposals.

Twenty-four local authorities have not yet submitted statements of account for 1977–78. Subject to that, by 31st March 158 acres of community land had been disposed of at a net profit of just over £1 million.
