asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he had talks with the President of Portugal during his visit to London about outstanding claims for compensation by British farmers whose property was expropriated in Portugal.

During his visit, President Eanes said that the new Government of Portugal would give the matter prompt attention.
