asked the Minister for the Civil Service whether the Pay Research Unit Board has yet completed its work on scientists' pay.

Yes. The PRU board has now submitted to the Government and the Institution of Professional Civil Servants its report on the application of pay research to scientists in 1980. A copy of the report has been placed in the Library.
