asked the Secretary of State for Employment when he expects to receive the next report of the Royal Commission on the distribution of income and wealth.

The eighth report of the Royal Commission on the distribution of income and wealth has been published today as a Command Paper. Copies have been placed in the Library of the House. The report deals with the distribution of income from employment and self-employment. This is the last report from the Commission under its standing reference. The Commission was wound up at the end of July. A short report summarising all the Commission's finding is to be published at the beginning of next year.
