asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he plans to raise the age limit for mobility allowance beyond 65 years of age.

Once eligibility to mobility allowance has been established before age 65, both men and women can retain it to age 75. My right hon. Friend has no plans further to extend the scope of the allowance.
