asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will arrange for greater publicity to be given to the existence and creation of tourist information centres.

Responsibility rests with the English Tourist Board for deciding how to make best use of the funds Parliament has made available for the promotion and development of tourism in England. The Board already does a good deal to inform people about tourist information centres and the services they provide.
