asked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) when he expects to make his statement on future nuclear policy;(2) whether he proposes to allow the electricity industry to build a demonstration pressurised water reactor; of he will ensure that a full scale public inquiry is held before any pressurised water reactors are built; and what plans he has to reorganise the nuclear design and construction industry.

My right hon. Friend expects to make a statement on the nuclear programme and the nuclear industry in the next few weeks.
