asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will accede to the Save Britain's Heritage scheme for the conservation of The Grange as a romantic ruin which would preclude large expenditures on the build- ing and which would preserve the work both of William Wilkins and William Samwell.

The representations made by Save Britain's Heritage will be considered with all others received in response to the invitation from my right hon. Friend.
