In addition, a proportion of grant provided for universities and other voluntary bodies is used for research.Lists of research projects supported by my Department are prepared annually and I am arranging for copies of the lists for the past five years to be placed in the Library of the House.Lists of research projects supported by the research councils are not readily available to my Department but information on the activities of the councils is provided in their annual reports, copies of which are available in the Library.
