asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what measures are currently being taken to prevent corrosion of the stonework on the Palace of Westminster caused by atmospheric pollution.

None since September 1978, when the use of high sulphurous fuel in the Palace boiler house was discontinued.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans there are to clean the stonework of the Palace of Westminster.
