asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish tables in the Official Reportshowing characteristics selected by heads of households in Scotland as reasons for housing satisfaction or dissatisfaction by tenure, as prepared for the 1978 general household survey.

I am having the material analysed as quickly as possible and hope to make the results available shortly.

Such advice was obtained at a meeting including representatives of the various departments of the council which were concerned in February 1977 and during a subsequent telephone conversation between a departmental official and an official of Glasgow district council. Subsequently, the chief valuer confirmed by telephone from an official of the district council that there was no change in the planning status of the property. I do not consider it is appropriate to specify the individuals concerned.
