asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the number of hospitalised psychiatric patients in Scotland in each health board area in 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979.

The number of psychiatric patients in mental illness hospitals and psychiatric units attached to general hospitals, by health board area of treatment, as at 31 December each year is as follows:number of teachers registered as unemployed in each region of Scotland.
