asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the total of men and women at present held in prisons in Scotland who have been convicted of terrorist offences in this country.

The classification of crimes in Scotland does not identify terrorist offences as a separate category. There are, however, 21 prisoners at present in custody in Scotland who have been convicted under the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions)Acts.
