(iv) Total estimated cost includes the accepted tender price, an allowance for contingencies, ancillary works (where appropriate) and price increases acceptable under the contract which have already occurred. It does not allow for future inflation.

asked the Minister of Transport for how many English motorways and trunk road construction

bridge across the River Bann; how much it will cost; and how long the work will take.

Work is expected to begin this month and completion is scheduled for the autumn of this year. The total cost is estimated at £536,000 including £48,600 for temporary bridgeworks.
