asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what percentage of her weekly supplementary benefit it is estimated a pregnant woman on benefit spends on food; and what she should spend in order to conform to a suitable recommended diet.

I have no information on the percentage of supplementary benefit that a pregnant woman spends on food. It is not possible to say what amount she should spend as individual needs vary and a nutritionally balanced diet can be obtained from a variety of foods at varying costs.
