asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will recognise Raynaud's phenomenon as a prescribed industrial disease for benefit purposes.

No. However, the question whether vibration white finger—which is that component of Raynaud's phenomenon associated with the use of vibratory tools—should be prescribed has recently been referred to the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council.
