asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what assessment he has made of the demand in the Possilpark area upon the present social security offices in Springburn; and if he will consider the provision of more conveniently located premises to meet the needs arising in the Possilpark area.

The Department's network of local offices in Scotland is at present under review. The hon. Member will be consulted about the arrangements covering the whole of his constituency, including the Possilpark area, once firm proposals are available.
