asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many prosecutions or confiscations relating to citizens band radio sets have been made by Customs and Excise Order SI 1968, No. 61, in each year since 1968.

There were no prosecutions under SI 1968: 61 for breaches of the import prohibition prior to 1979. In 1979 there were 58 such prosecutions.The number of prohibited citizens band radio sets seized by Customs were as follows:
