Mr. Norman Fowler, supported by Secretary Sir Keith Joseph, Mr. Secretary Prior, Mr. Secretary Heseltine, Mr. Secretary Nott, Mr. Nigel Lawson and Mr. Kenneth Clarke, presented a Bill to provide financial assistance for and in connection with measures taken by the Port of London Authority to restore the profitability of their undertaking by reducing the number of persons employed by them: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow, and to be printed.
