asked the Minister of Transport if he will give further details of his policy that Sealink should have the commercial freedom to develop its business.

My objective is to involve private capital in the British Railways Board's major subsidiaries, including Sealink, and to relieve it of public sector restraints. I shall make a further statement when I have the results of the joint examination which I am at present conducting with the chairman.
