asked the Secretary of State for Industry what recent representations he has received in favour of siting part of the inmos production plant in one of the areas of Wales affected by redundancies in the coal and steel industries.

Since the Christmas Recess my right hon. Friend has received representations to this effect from four right hon. and hon. Members, four local authorities, two public corporations, and two trades union bodies.
