asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much ammunition, weapons and explosives have been discovered in Northern Ireland since he took office; and what reports he has as to the amount of the similar materials discovered in the Republic of Ireland since he took office, and the same figures for the corresponding period prior to his taking office.

I am not able to give the corresponding figures for the Republic of Ireland, but I am aware that the Garda Siochana has made a number of significant finds in recent months.
