asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a breakdown of the figures in the public expenditure White Paper for housing in 1979–80 and 1980–81 by (a) local authorities, (b) the Scottish Special Housing Association, (c) the Housing Corporation and housing associations and (d) others.

The information requested is set out in the table below. Apart from central Government expenditure on housing, the only expenditure falling under the "others" heading is by new towns.
