asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he has discussed with the representatives of the nursing profession in Wales the Clegg award ; and, if not, if he will make arrangements to do so.

No. The terms and conditions of service of all nursing staff throughout Great Britain are negotiated by the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council, and the main recommendations of the Clegg report have already been implemented in accordance with an agreement of the council.
