asked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he has any plans to print 1981 calendars for distribution to small business men ; and if he will make a statement.

Yes. Their purpose is to advertise the small firms service. Calendars will be distributed to firms who might need to use the service and to organisations such as clearing banks, Chambers of Commerce, trade associations and those providing professional services—for example, accountants—who are likely to be aware of small firms to whom the service would be helpful and so in a position to recommend the service to small businesses in need of help with their development plans or with problems. Distribution of the calendar is undertaken by small firms centres based on their local knowledge and contacts.
