asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will review the maximum pension of £1·38 per week awarded to parents whose sons and daughters were killed in the war ; and if he will make a statement.

No : the purpose of these pensions was overtaken by the introduction of the modern social security scheme and the have not, therefore, been increased since 1946.
