Sheep Certification

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will alter the present standard of sheep certification through the agency of the Meat and Livestock Commission to take account of the changed demands of the retail trade.

This is one of the questions to be considered in determining the detailed arrangements for implementing in the United Kingdom the Community sheepmeat regime, on which agreement was reached at the meeting at the Council of Agriculture Ministers on 28–30 May.
