asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the cash value of the benefit that France obtains by being able to sell its agriculture produce at the common agricultural policy prices rather than world market prices.

France's benefit on her trade in agricultural products with other member States is estimated at something over £500 million in 1978, the latest year for which figures are available.
