asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether there are at present any Royal Navy vessels participating or intending to participate in naval exercises in the Caribbean area; and, if so, which vessels are involved.

Her Majesty's ships "Hermes" and "London" together with two Royal Fleet auxiliaries are participating in one of a regular series of United States Navy exercises in the Caribbean Sea. Her Majesty's ships deployed to the Caribbean participate in exercises with allied and other friendly navies as opportunity allows.
